Why Essays?
The essay is the most important part of a college application.
Grades, test scores, and activities can get your foot in the door, but the essays are what get you an acceptance letter. Each applicant can expect to write approximately 2 to 5 essays for each school during college application process. Join the hundreds of students who have written exceptional essays with Dr. Whitney’s Programs, and give your applicant the best shot at top choice schools.
With COVID-19, essays are more important than ever.
Many schools have gone to Pass/Fail grading. SAT and ACT scores are being dropped from application requirements. Sports and other activities are limited. Plus, there is an additional COVID-related essay prompt on the Common Application. Dr. Whitney’s one-on-one sessions provide the guidance, structure, and editorial eye to help students write exceptional essays.
The essay is now the main key to setting you apart.
Many top schools have acceptance rates of less than 10% with thousands of applications – meaning admissions officers can receive over 100,000 essays per application season. Good essays make you more than just a number, and exceptional essays make you unforgettable. Choose from Dr. Whitney’s College Application Essay (CAPES) programs or schedule individual sessions.
